A lot of people have asked this but I have never stuck around long enough to hear the answer. How do you post a picture in the forum to where people see it without having to click a link? please tell

    hey dream lab,
just specify a URL like so:

    img src="//littlecomposers.com/wp-content/uploads/magicFluteStart.jpg" alt="flute start screen"

use a < before the work "img" and one at the end after screen" />

i can't post the full instructions or you wont be able to see the line is it will execute the command and display a picture!

    start with an <
then follow with: img src=http:// right after the //webpagename.com.sample.jpg"
then leave a space and type alt (that stands for alternative text which those see/hear who can not see pictures like blind people)
the give it a name wrapped in " name "and close the line with the /> tag
    thats it!

So much for only posting a picture. Dang So I have to make a link myself.

to get up to speed with those things, just google
    html image

and you will quickly see how it is done!

As far as website or space goes, there are some free sites around which let you post images for free and then link to that location. Unfortunately, I don't use any of the free sites but again, google knows where they live :)

    You did it!

me sings the ba ra pa pa pa (Mc Donalds commercial jingle)

p.s. you don't need the html tags ... it's not a web page you are posting :)
