Keep iTunes/Spotify music playing

Hi everyone,

I have recently created an app that doesn't use any music or sounds and I am wondering if it is possible to keep music from iTunes or Spotify playing when you open the app. Right now if I have music playing when I open my app the music turns off.

Any idea if this is possible?
