Collision questions

Two questions.

1. When i use accelerate toward the objects that should collide with whats accelerating push through it. Is there any way to over come this?

2. I know the only collision shapes are rectangle and circle. but is there any way to put rectangle together to make joints. where they are stuck and pivot with the ends overlapped just a little bit?

    Ok. I think i can make the joints by setting self.jointposition attributes to be plus or minus the x y positions and then game attributes to be the same so that i can lock the self attributes to the same place.

    But then how would i set it all to rotate based on the joint positions so they can move like shoulders and elbows, etc?

    Ok now it's even weirder. The collides don't even seem to be working with a couple of the actors. as soon as the scene loads one actor should be sitting on top of the other but it just slowly falls through. I've tried remaking all of the actors but for some reason it doesn't change.

    Have a look at Hanging/Swinging DEMO by firemaplegames. To me, this seem to have some of the characteristics of joints. He does warn, though, that this isn't optimized but maybe you can get some ideas from this.

    Can u take your graphics out and stuff and post the project? It would make it alot easier to help.

    Victim doesnt fall threw anymore, and i sent it backed fix. Your collisions and rules might be a cause for some glitches though. Let me know how it is.
