First game is going well

Hey all. Just wanted to give an update on the development of my first game. I found out about GS less than two weeks ago and I'm very happy with how my game is coming along. It's got a weird title that I'm not ready to reveal yet, so for right now I'll just refer to it as LBDA.

For someone who's never made a game before I'm mostly satisfied with GS's abilities. Sure, they are some things I wish it did (Gamecenter, video, built-in pause), but overall I'm impressed with how quickly I've been able to get a game into a playable state.

I'm super-excited about LBDA. I guess you could call it a single-stick arcade shooter. I'm making all the sounds, music and artwork myself. Well, I haven't started on the art yet because I need to get all the game modes in place first. But I'm hoping to have the thing mostly finished in the next month or so.

I'll update more as I make progress. Thanks to everyone on the forum who's answered my questions!
