  Were you actually using the program or just letting it run in the background.
  
  If doing a lot of switching actors I still get slow downs after 10-20 min.

  I was making a game and testing about every 5-10 mins. It has alot of rules and a spawn about every second or two

  Maybe because you have 6gb of ram! I've got 4gb and can normally get a few hours if I'm not messing around with too many other programs at the same time

  6G and 4G is the same at first, but it changes a lot when you use it for about 20min.

  same here... no crash ut little lag... but i have 2gb ram.. gonna upgrade to 8 soon

  I have 8GB and an i7. Still doesn't help much with slow down. In a really busy game I get about 10 mins of proper work, in newer and simpler projects up to 30 mins of work.
  
  Saying that, by visiting the rules in 2 really full actors one after then other and then using preview will pretty much slow it to an unusable speed in the space of about 3 minutes.

  aaaaand this is why i never complain about the lack of gamecenter... i prefer a leak fix
