my app has had 250+ downloads BUT no pr work... how/why and it isnt featured how do people know to find it ??

    ok... thought it might be but how do they find it i looked every where and still couldnt find it without using the search feature ?

    Lots of people search for apps, and they must be using some keywords you have tagged on your app

    Or they saw it in the "new release" section.

    250 a day or 250 total? 250 a day is respectable as you may be able to get about ten percent to buy a "full"paid version.

    You prob got 250 downloads from the first couple of days when it is listed in the new section of your category. You will see a step drop once it falls of the new list and I wouldn't expect a feature on a free app with only 250 downloads.

    @ dizko, might seem light a stupid question but were is the new release section ?

    @ greenhyno 4 yesterday, 250 today

    @ tenrdrmer thats what i thought i just couldnt tell where they were finding it in the first place... also how dose featured work is it apple saying this is an app they like or is it based on downloads, if so how many downloads would you need to be featured ??

    No one really knows to be for sure. the sub category features are pretty random. i've had my game show up there once sales have stopped but the front page and main N&N features are picked by apple based on a lot of different factors.
