Another lander type game I made for me and my friends. Retro inspired. I didn't want to release 2 lander games in a row on the app store, but I was talked in to it by my brother, and figured why not.

It's got the sound bug that never showed up during testing, but an update is already waiting for review that fixes it.

Thanks Red! That icon was a last minute inspiration, I was afraid it was going to be too bland.

Wow! The last time I played this was on a Franklin computer (an Apple IIe clone) in 1986! What a throwback, great job to resurrect this game. Kudos!

I remember playing something like this on the BBC Micro or the Apple II. I like the game a lot, but perhaps the difficulty level is just a bit too high to begin with- it might put people off. I still haven't landed yet, but it a great game.

    Hey Lucky

What particularly do you find difficult, controlling the ship, or the landing itself?

My friends have been testing it for me, but we have been playing it for a month, so we all have a good feel for the controls and such and can't tell anymore what it's like for a new person to play it.

I'm not sure. Either make the rotation of the ship faster, or don't let it rotate more than 45 degrees each way. Sometimes I found myself accelerating into the ground while getting trying to get the ship to turn quicker.

Thanks for that input, Lucky. I've been debating on whether or not to make the rotation faster, and this confirms it.
