Size problem

Hey guys,

I have a big problem. I am working on a game that has much actors in it.
And I need them, the main character moves on them. The problem is that the file
size gets more and more huge when creating more scenes. As the levels are build exactly,
I can't change simply the position when they go out of scene. I could do it for each but it would be
a lot of work.

What can I do to keep the file size as low as possible?

Thx,
Alex

Take a look here at this thread, it has many good points on how to keep you file low...

The main thing I would say is to build the game with Tables if you aren't already.

    @Braydon_SFX
    which thread? :D

A stupid question. In game the project file is 6.7mb...
and when I hit "get info" on my desktop, it has 14.6mb????

What is important to watch at really now??
Drives me crazy...I deleted ALL scenes and I have 13.6mb...project size still 6.7mb

    Thx

    Hehe - this one:

Your games only 6.7MB? You should be fine, mate. You should be careful it doesn't go above 60MB...But it seems you dont have to worry about that at this time.

But it is about optimization not game size itself ...

    mhmmm....

    Hey,

okey, is there a way to keep the file size lower when not having many actors in the scenes? So if I reduce the amount of actors in the scene, does the game file gets smaller?

I am not talking about the project size...just for information.
