Promo codes--all ready used?

I got some promo codes for my app to give to a couple of people but none of the codes work, they just say "All ready used" But they aren't! I Just got them! Do you have to wait a couple of hours before using them?

    Did you make sure the letters were all Upper-case?
    You can only get 50 codes per new version of your app.

    they also only last 4 weeks after requesting them

    The codes will work as soon as you are able to download them from Apple. Did you accidentally send the same code to more than one person?
