how to change the size of the collision area of an actor?

I put a tile in scene whose original size was big?

Its collision area doesn't get scaled down.

Now how do I change its collision area size, using which attribute?

Unfortunately you can't control the collision area that much. You can double click the actor and look under physics (i believe) and say if you want it rectangular or circular collision. But that's about it. The only way to change the collision area size would be to adjust the actual size of the actor.
Another way would be to constrain an invisible actor to your current actor- and use that invisible actor as your collision area.
Let me know if you're confused on all of this. And i welcome the community to let me know if i've said anything wrong.

this is one big disadvantage. I think I will scale down the actor size itself. Thanks.

Hopefully the next version will have the collision size change support.

Have a look at this tutorial, it may help you. I've used it to decrease the collision area of an actor.

Am i correct in saying that this video only helps if you want the collision area to be clicked? Can this work in actor collisions? Lets say i want a smaller colllision area. Meaning if lets say i had a circle- i want its inner mid circle to be the impact point and not the outside portion. This would actually help me greatly. And does this technique put less constrain on RAM then creating invisible dummy actors with constrains?
Sorry to take over this question hehe!
    Thanks!

You should be able to get it to work with actor collisions, but you'll need to constrain the position of the other actor(s) that you want it to collide with and use that instead of mouse position x and y.

Looking forward to potential polygon collision in the future. It'll be fun to look at these posts in the future and say, "Remember when you had to come up with workarounds for collisions."

    Yes, that will be nice.
