I have an iPhone app that was just rejected because the app didn't respond on iPad?
What would cause my app to work on an iPhone but not iPad?

Edit: I just tested this game on my iPad and it worked perfectly..

Here is a snip of what Apple said.

The resolution for iphone will be different on ipad definitely. usually when you submit the iphone app we only select it to work on iphone devices instead of all devices. If you don't know yet we have always been making both ipad and iphone version seperately, but you can also now take advantage of the conversion technique to resize the iphone to ipad app as well and submit that seperately for ipad app.

This is my 4th game so I'm quite familiar with these practices, but I generated the app for iPhone. I have not submitted a version for iPad yet.

Also Apple stated the game was rejected because they tested it on iPad and it didn't respond, I just tested the game on my iPad and it worked perfectly so I am extremely confused as what to do right now

@saladstraightshooter do you have any suggestions for me to try? :-/

I just submitted an appeal so I'll see how that goes.

Are they suppose to check your app on ipad if you only release it for iphone anyway?

it was rejected because when played on an ipad the game didn't respond. all iphone apps must be playable on an iPad.

Kyukon, did you test it in adhoc at all? do you have an ipad or know friends who have one?

@jonmulcahy - Yea I own an iPhone and iPad and tested an adhoc on both of them, everything worked 100% fine. My appeal is in review now, I will post how it turns out.

My appeal was successful and my game is now on the app store :D
The last reviewer must have been using a cardboard iPad to test this game haha

My iPHONE app was rejected for not displaying the correct resolution on the iPAD. I had this problem once before, but forgot how I solved it.

    Anybody know the quick answer?
