Hi GameSalad Community!

Hi everyone, I'm a lifelong artist with a minimal amount of computer science training (I'm now majoring in a totally different field). I joined GameSalad last year and have been following the discussions and tutorials that have been shared on here. I think this is a great community and I've learned a lot (with much more to learn in the future) from reading the forums and following demonstrations on YouTube, etc. I love everything about gaming, and I see the indie developer market as being the most appealing in that you have far more creative freedom and ability to take risks. Of course some might say risk taking is a downside - I hope to keep growing as a new developer and learning from the expertise of the community here.

I've got 3 projects in the works, one is far closer to completion but as I'm learning (and I know you are all aware of this, haha) that I'm now working out the kinks/bugs and so I'm AIMING for a summer release. My strengths are art and design - programming goes far more slowly for me. But I'm determined to prevail.

So thanks to everyone who participates on here - I think this forum and community are amazing.

Yes, when you are fighting two days with some code, then just appear anyone and spare with you the solution!

It's often the code that takes longer that, when completed, makes you a much stronger programmer. :)

I'm totally in class right now but missed you guys. Hello right back at all of you! I love that you posted Lionel's pic on this thread, SSS. I spend a good part of my design/developing hours listening to old skool soul/funk/r & b. It helps keep me from shorting out the keyboard with tears of frustration. :D

@Saladstraightshooter Love the picture - That hair is some of the finest I have ever seen, and don't even get me started on the jumper

@capitalcarnage - It really is an epic hairdo. I miss the days when a man could rock a not-quite-fro-not-quite-mullet style. Kool from the Gang had it down too. (Giving away my age here).
