Is there a simple way in GameSalad to register daily use?

Hey guys,

I have been looking around on the forum for this info, but can't find a solution. I would like to add to a counter each consecutive day the player has been playing my game. I would also like to know if he skipped a day. Any suggestions?

When the game is loaded, or on the main menu, or whenever, have something that writes the date to a table?

Then you can check if there is more than one days difference between dates, as I assume the date gets saved numerically.

It sounds like a good idea and I appreciate the suggestion, but I am not sure how to get from where I am with this problem to the solution with your suggestion. For instance, how would I write the date to a table? Then how would I count consecutive days in the table? Also, what if I play on the 31st of a month and then again on the 1st... How would I measure this as a consecutive day?

You may find a Julian calendar useful:

Julian calendars number each day of the year from 1 to 365. So January 31st would be day #31, and Feb. 1st would be day #32. So it would be easy to tell if somebody played your game in consecutive days.
