Pop Up Menus

I want to be able to tap a menu button (which is on a particular current scene) and have it pop up another scene which overlaps the current screen - while still showing the underlying screen.

Help?

    I believe you could do something similar by making certain buttons appear when menu gets pressed change a game attribute to 1 then on those actors/buttons when that game attribute is 0 destroy then when 1 spawn at some certain position. But it will also be on top of your current gameplay which is still in action so you would have to create a pause attribute for all moving actors so when the same menu button is pressed pause all actors as well. It will take some work!
