iOS7 compatibility new error?

squirrel42squirrel42 Member, PRO Posts: 195
@codewizard I just uploaded an iPad app and still got the "Missing recommended icon file - The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPad of exactly '152x152' pixels, in .png format" warning. I thought this had been fixed server end? Didn't get it with the iPhone version though so thats good news.

I did get a new warning through Application Loader though "Warning ITMS "Legacy language designator - The directories located at (AppName.app/English.lproj) use a legacy language designator" It has let it pass but warns it may not work in future versions of the OS.

Just wanted to let you know in case you were not aware of this issue.

Posting errors on the forum is pointless. Submit it via bugs so the GS team can see it right away.

@squirrel42 the "Warning ITMS "Legacy language designator - The directories located at (AppName.app/English.lproj) use a legacy language designator" It has let it pass but warns it may not work in future versions of the OS." is a know issue we will fix this in the next release. It should not cause any issue with you app submission for now

We were able to patch the plist value for this issue on the publishing server, please let us know if you keep seeing the warning. The warning shouldn't stop you from publishing. It just looks alarming.

And now it should look non-existent.

    Cheers.

I'm not concerned by the message. My game uploaded and delivered fine despite the message and I'm sure the GS team will fix this if not already done. As it says may not work in future iOS versions, it doesn't seem a critical issue right now...

@adent42 Sorry, the warning is still there. I will ignore!..
