the word is Gradient image, i put a gradient image of 1024x768 in a scene of 1324x1068 with the option tile image and the image don´t look fine, and if i put with no gradient the image look fine.

@agueis, if you have a problem with gradients, try to make one single corner pixel transparent by just 1%, this used to force GS to keep the image as 24bit and give a smooth gradient.

I have not tried this on the new release candidate.

Do you know what, I think that is something that could be thrown at the bug database, I think @Codewizard made sounds about addressing it but he was probably swept up the Himalayan slog of refactoring work.

    Ok.

    Open your image into Photoshop.

Make it a layer (not a 'background')

Select a single pixel (1 x 1 pixel) the smallest area you can.

    Select the eraser tool.

    Set the eraser to 1%

Rub the eraser tool over the selected area.

    Save !

Problem fixed ! I know this sounds like Photoshop-homeopathy, but it really does work.

It's not officially a bug until it doesn't appear on the bug database. :)

    Don't do it @agueis!

Every app from @Socks comes with a 200 page manual on higher trigonometry and requires at least a thorough knowledge of Gudermannian functions.

    :)

Admittedly my 'Inverse transformations and secant projection fun for the under 5s' app didn't do so well in the games charts.
