    Yes, can we please find out some of the parameters that would be efficient to compete in this space?;

Screen size to use in Gamesalad
    Icon Size
    Game controls using TIzen
    How to submit?

@BBEnk‌ did you do anything outside of making the project size the watch size?

When you made the game for the watch, did you do anything special? I assume you altered the project size to match the resolution of the watch, or did you not do that?

Oh yea I changed scene size to match the watches 320x320 thats really all it takes. I even tested this with the Tizen Wearable SDK and it worked, lol. but was not really playable on the emulator on my computer to slow.

I might also mention to those interested in this that the Tizen Store and the Samsung Gear Store are not the same.

Any further info on this from Gamesalad? Here's a link to the SDK. http://developer.samsung.com/samsung-gear

@BBEnk did you try it with the new SDK?

  • BBEnkBBEnk Member Posts: 1,764

Are you saying we can already build for Samsung Gear 2? We just build for Tizen and then what?? Please specify steps if possible!

As anyone starts to prepare for apps for this challenge keep us up to date.

Templates developed in GS to be used with appropriate screen size. etc

  • BBEnkBBEnk Member Posts: 1,764

You only need to change scene size to 320x320 and use stretch, see my little Flappy experiment below.

Excellent. Thanks for the information and clarification.

As the competition starts on May 8th, it will be a big interest to see the parameters for submission

If we can join this challenge, I want to get more information. How we can submit with gamesalad proj?

If we change screen size 320x320 , can it work with gear? are we sure?

    check out the rules:

General: Submitted applications must be Samsung Gear Apps created using the Samsung Gear Dev Tool.

I don't think gamesalad apps are eligible.
