Help with GIMP settings

in Working with GS (Mac)

I'm working with GS 0.11.0.13. After I build an image in GIMP, it looks good when I import it into GS, but when I change images on an actor, the colors are off. What settings should I use in GIMP to have the colors look right? Thanks!

    I[m using GIMP 2.8, and exporting to png with Compression Level 0.
