best way to make pin ball bumper effect+ bouncing off it?

Hi all
I need some advice on the best way to add a Pinball bumper effect, so when my hero touches this bumper, he bounces off it randomly.

Any pointers or useful video links welcome

    Use a vector to angle equation. This is what I used for the bumpers in our game. I'm not at my computer but when I am I'll post the expression.

    hey Dave
    Ive managed to figure it out this morning and it was pretty straight forward using the collide and setting my hero actor to bounce etc.And just found this video from T-Shirt Booth!
