How do you provis your device? (HELP) (test flight app)

Hello Ive been trying to get this working on my iPod for 3 days now but its now working. I have everything my "ipa" it shows that I have my build on testflightapp.com on my computer not on my iPod. Have you added your device to the profile? Did you download that profile and install it? Did you sign your app with that profile and upload that to testflight?
@bjandthekatz where and how in Xcode should I sign it? It has to be signed in Xcode But I don't know how or where to put it specifically . That's my problem mainly I think.
