What kind of version number is 1.6.2 and 1.7?

Gamesalad Mac is up to 0.11.0.13 and Mac OS X is up too 10.9.2.

i´m sure he talks about his Mac OSX Version... 10.6.2 and 10.7
In my personal opinion there is no logical reason for NO updating your OS... it doesn't have to be the very latest but at least 10.7 is highly recommended.

    Up to you

@3DMA, you're probably right. And I agree, the updates are even free so why not go for it...

    Gamesalad Requirements:

Mac OSX Lion or Later. Xcode 4.6 with Command Line Tools and iOS Support. Android SDK for Android support.

Core 2 Duo or Later CPU required. Minimum of 2GB of RAM recommended.

Unless you upgrade to lion, you can't use gamesalad.

One thing i really like about GameSalad is the fact that it nearly doesn't need any resources... so you could run it literally on ANY Mac, no matter how cheap, as long as it has at least OSX Lion...

So any good 2nd Hand MacBook or mac mini will do the job.

IF you however going to use graphic programs, like for example Photoshop, you maybe run into trouble...

but to work only on GameSalad itself... you don't have to spend a fortune anymore.

GameSalad requires lion on Mac because Xcode requires at least lion and they need each other to work properly for publishing. Yes it does suck to update sometimes but you have no way around this one unfortunatly.
