Publishing using Adhoc Profile

I was stupid and didn't create another profile for App Store Distribution. I had was adhoc distribution. Will it still push through or do I upload another binary? Does that mean when the app is published, only the provisioned device can open the game? Why does itunesconnect even accept a binary with an adhoc provisioning profile? The binary was uploaded 6 days ago.

Can I upload while "Waiting for review?". Thanks for your help guys!

    If I understand you correctly you are trying to publish and app to the apple store for general distribution using an adhoc profile? That will not work. You'll need to republish using a profile for distribution.

    Yes you can stop the review process and re-upload the correct binary.

    That was fast @jamie_c‌ ! Thank you! I wonder why itunesconnect even accepted an adhoc provisioned binary. Weird!

    I love my GS family! :D

    @jamie_c‌
    Now I get redundant binary upload error in Application Loader! :'(

    I got it! I needed to remove the build first. I cannot do that in the binary section. I had to do it above.

    Why does it get this really hard to publish with iOS! It was always straightforward in Androids!

    Yeah, you had to remove the old binary first but I see you did that. It can be a pain on iOS at first, but after a few apps you get the hang of it and it's not such a pain anymore.
