Resolution option for cross platform game

What is the best resolution option when creating a cross platform game with GS?

  • i found a comment where someone said that the best option is iPad resolution with overscan!

Is this it?

    I use the iPad resolution with the stretch option.

    Overscan or Stretch starting with iPad resolution is your best bet, no single one is a magic bullet however and do require some configuration to be just right. I use stretch.

    My game I'm currently working on is iPad portrait orientation originally. Overscan does the trick for me for ANY device; no stretching or buttons cut off. You just need to make sure you keep that in mind as you develop.

    Then you need to move it where it will be visible on those devices. ;)

    I used iPad with overscan, put all the side actors(settings button,...) in the first square, and i think it's fine.

    @Braydon_SFX‌ : do i get that settings button, to be visible on all devices?

    @Braydon_SFX‌ : if i put the settings button near the left side (in the second square o the iPad in GS Creator), it won't be totally visible on the iPhone4/5 resolution.
