It's like that moment when you bring your dog home from the adoption center, and he looks at you like "WHAAAT? I CAN STAY HERE??" That's basically how I feel right now. Never thought I'd be having so much fun with game design let alone try my hand at being a game designer, but I just made my first game from scratch for the old school Jam, and now I think I'd like to stay awhile!

So yeah! Hi! My name is Jesse. Pleased to meet you all!
I actually stumbled on GameSalad while looking for another outlet for my attempts at music and voice acting. Now I'm going to go power read the cookbooks and other tutorial-esque forum posts! Peace!

    Also here's my first game!! I've tried stripping it down, but I'm afraid she still runs a little slow... I'm not positive, but I think it's the music during the gameplay that's making the normal running speed take a nose dive. I'm open to suggestions! Please let me know what any of you think and how I might be able to improve the smoothness of the gameplay.

    Just checked out your game and yes it doesn't seem right, does it run ok on your computer in the previewer?
