Hypothetical Question - Apple Developer

So, lets say you pay $99 to be an Apple developer for a year and you put out some games/apps that just don't really sell well. So after that year you decide that the $49 you made with your apps/games does not justify renewing your Apple developer license.

What happens to those apps/games that you made, uploaded, and are for sale in the app store? Are they removed? Or are they still available for sale but you just cant update or change anything with them since you would no longer be a developer?

Luckily our current stuff (Space Bump and Unite) are selling well enough that we will eventually get a check from Apple, but I was just wondering.

    Good question. I believe they take them down. But I'm not 100% sure.

    Seems like if they take them down it would help to weed out the some of the crappier offerings, but the app store numbers keep going up up up.

    They will remove all apps and your account if you do not pay the $99.00.

    Yea, they will definitely remove your apps
