Bundle? How to renew Distribution Certificates?

Has anyone done this recently? I appears that Apple has completely revised the process and you can't add applications like you used to. Anyone know how to navigate this without reading 500 pages of applespeak?

Make an app id first i think.

You need to use the new application loader to upload your app to Apple - it's a download off the dev site.

    It this what you meant?

You can always click cancel if you just want to fiddle with meta-data I think.

Sorry I'm not as clear as I'd like to be!

You used to be able to check app titles before wasting months developing an app that you couldn't market because the name was already taken... You could then "reserve" the name with upload of binary pending...Up until about two weeks ago.

Now you have to wait to log the app until you have an actual binary to upload. And a "bundle ID" do you know what that is about Sheepy?

    Thanks for any help.

You don't have to upload the binary - at least I don't think so. Like I said, you can click off the thing that asks you for the binary and edit the metadata.

Hang on, I'll try and put something up now.

Are you trying to make a new app name?

    Yes - I just did.

You have to go into the provisioning section first, make a new app ID, then come out of that, go to itunes connect and you can select the bundle identifier from there (which will be the appID you just made).

    So you have:
    App name:
    SKU no:
    Bundle Identifier:

    Hope that helps?

Have you tried to go to the page where you add the bundle identifier and gotten the "this page does not work" message?

Yes, I got the same message, so I just went to the dev front page where it has Provisioning and itunes connect on the right hand side and did it from there.
