Kent Sandvik has released a collection of free Apple loop libraries that come with the best licensing agreement ever:

    This raises the question for me, are we allowed to use sounds from GarageBand in our games? I have a few in mine...

    Yes I think you are allowed to use garage band sounds.

    All Apple loops can be used for any purpose completely royalty free.

    The only exception is you cannot create a sound and sell it as a loop itself.
