You can, of course import an image in two or more parts, so if you want to make up a 2880x1800px background then there is nothing to stop you.

Briefly, the Flag button is designed to eliminate spam. Every time some one clicks it under a post. That post is labeled as spam. I think after 3 or 5 flags the post is taken down and reviewed by GS.
