For the falling, I would imagine you have gravity turned on or acceleration as your falling behavior. Change this to a "move" behavior, and you should be good.

Make sure your image filenames match your change attribute expression. If your filenames are of the format image1000.png and your expression is of the format image1000 then it should work.

What program are you exporting you're images from, and with what settings?

All images will blend colors if they do not have 100% opacity and overlap. Are you using images with some transparency? Are you using blending modes such as additive?

Do you have a blending mode turned on, on the actors? Are you changing the actors color via the actors attributes?

I don't know what that means. Are the actors in positions where their widths or heights would overlap? Is the problem that you can see through to the image below or that you can't?
