Last I knew you were able to just open Mac files in the PC version with no 'converting' needed. I believe it was the transition from PC to Mac where you needed to rename the file.

After my Blender course I have been working on a new course. This time it is an Illustrator course where you can learn to create awesome buttons and learn how to organize and export them.

Pretty sure you just need to rename the file to have an extension of .gsproj. But I could be wrong. This video is old but could also shed some light...?

Loading times is a thorny issue for our engine, so I'm don't have much to say now until I look into it more. Better men than me have tried to improve loading, but I have some ideas I want to look into
