    Just to be clear, you do not need to zip up the .app and rename to .ipa to test on a device. Both iTunes and Xcode Organizer will accept a .app.

    Yeah, I'm aware of the zip/ipa thing. Does the application loader create an IPA I can use locally for testing?

    I want to make a game for an iPad. I was looking at the landscape it looked bigger than an iPad screen. So i got my iPad and held it up to the screen and it seems like the screen on my iPad is smaller

    You'll get back a .app. All you have to do is zip it up and upload it via Application Loader. Just in case you don't know, a .ipa is a .zip.

    @ChaunceyK ... personally I design for the iPad first so my graphics are all big (cleaner to resize smaller later) and then use the technique in this thread to spit out an iPhone version:

    Then I duplicate the project four times, one for iPad, iPhone,Kindle and a backup copy. Now I can change the project type and import all my art scaled to that type and add it to my scenes and actors
