    GameSalad comes preloaded with Big Top Blaster (at least on Mac) which is basically what you want, with a few modifications.

    Well that literally fixes everything. I just had to take the game.health attribute OUT of the timer so that when the player got destroyed it instantly returns the health back to 100 while giving it 2

    The issue is very simply that when the player actor is being spawned its 'health' is less than 20, and it has a rule that says 'if my health is less than 20 then destroy me' !
