Wait, I think I've figured out what it is. When the parent spawns, it's assigning itself a number and saving it. The child is looking for that number to destroy itself. Wow! I never would have thought

Works the same way as a web cookie. If you set it with a date and time in the past it will destroy once it's used. Might not have needed it but left it in just incase
