    Have your player spawn the object, give the object the appropriate movement/velocity, and destroy the enemy actor when it collides with the object.

    One is that you could use 2 ground actors, one the Hero collides with and one that is just scenery. Layer the two together to get the effect you want.

    Just to show how variable the timer is, the following shows ticks created with identical interval timers, spawned from a moving actor. The top uses the Rule method, the bottom uses a standard timer.
