Is the error red or yellow? And are you using the Generate button or the RC button?

I'm calling the ad from the pause scene using the tweet sheet and I think it's something to do with the banner ads, as I did a little test without banners at all and that was ok for me.

The controller disconnects without freezing the game now, thank you. However the game.players.player1.joystick.connected doesn't seem to change back to false after disconnect.

It is an unpaid (to you) survey that players have to fill out. If you don't do it standalone then they have to fill it out as part of the first survey. Try it both ways and see what works out for you.
