It would seem that most iPhone games will just work on the iPad. There is also an option on the iPad that allows you to instantly double the size of the game using pixel doubling. Pretty much the same

Just wanted to boost some developers minds to turn towards the possibilities of this new iPad. If GS will go ahead and support this it would open up a whole new range of ideas.

I'm hoping that there will be an easier implementation that will allow the entire game to be flipped with just an Action or Behavior. But, I completely see where you're coming from, and I would hope

The new Apple iPad will be here in 2-3 months, and supposedly will be able to run iPhone games unchanged, or pixel-doubled for a full screen experience.

What's everyones thoughts on the new iPad? Will GS games work on it? I'm assuming yes but will the resolution be de-gradated? Will GS have a iPad option/conversion?

apparently there is a way to use cameras on the ipad. on the contacts app there is "Take Picture".

I'd say they've gotten fairly quick. I don't think the iPad or any other event interfered with their work.

How I prepare the IPA for distribution? Do I have to do anything in xcode first?

It's not meant to be a 'computer'. It's more of an alternative to a netbook. A netbook can't run any of the software you mention, yet it's a computer. The iPad Will certainly be getting it's own slew

How can you say there won't be any tools of creation? I saw a painting app for the iPad that looked awesome, and I'm sure more apps would come; the platform would be perfect.

Wow this thread has grown quick. Just watched ipad video. Looks pretty damn cool. It looks like a digital picture frame that can do so so so much more. Love the fact our apps/slash games will work and

I'll be happy if Game Salad is just updated to support the iPads resolution.
