Is this game idea already taken?

I wanted to make a game like this but have many levels and different challenges on each one. What I want to know is if this game is already made and if I am just wasting my time.
thanks

As long as its different and you make it your own style then it will not be wasting your time

MarkOnTheIron made a nice one called "A Plinky Game". You can play it here:

There is a free pachinko template that comes with GameSalad, so I'm sure a bunch of people have taken it and made games with it.

Well, Theres your answer then. The challenge is making it unique and every level different

It's not my fault I never learned to take responsibility for anything. ;)

Isn't that the paradox eh? Sometimes I wonder if it is more difficult coming up with original levels or actually playing them.

Personally, if you are new to GameSalad, I'd recommend just jumping in with both feet and see how far you get. Perhaps spend an hour either jotting down some gameplay mechanisms that you'd like to see in the game and maybe a screen mock-up or two.

That's the best way to learn and it starts shaping out to be something decent, then refactor it and add polish.

Still deciding, it sounds like there are a lot of plinko games out there so I'll have to make mine really different.

I think you should concentrate on one project

You have to add some cool things.
ex: different balls, enemies hitting the ball etc
