    Just wondering: if you're going to put out an app that is based on a historical tragedy with significant loss of life and charging for it, shouldn't you be donating some/most of the proceeds to a related charity organization? If yes, you should mention that in your description. If not, you might want to rethink your app strategy as some folks could find a retail app with no charity offering offensive.

    You're "thinking" about a charity? If this were anything more that a shameless attempt to profit from other's tragic experiences you'd already have a charity donation process in the works. Do you know that most charities require you to get their approval before you start accepting funds in their name. That is because they try not to align themselves with SCAMMERS!

    Next you're gonna tell us that ALL images from the internet are free...

    Woo Sorry guys for offending anyone, but this app was not to show the tragic that happen it was to show the building as it once was before the incident happen. Again it was not meant to make money off people's sorrow's but it was to show off the building , how big it was and beautiful it was.

    That could be a valid point of view, but the "dedication" in your description seems to imply a memorial aspect that is pretty hard to escape, given the circumstances of the buildings' destruction. You would do better to refer the architecture/design/aesthetics of the construction with as many details as possible, rather than relying on the dedication as a selling point, which your text currently seems to do. Unless you have some architectural insight that nobody else has, you're really going to have to consider donating to charity to avoid coming off as perceived above.

    No I assure you all the photos took my awhile to find, I paid for most and the rest were NOT copyright. I'm not trying to cash in on money,like I said before I'm still looking for a reliable charity to donate too, One reason I haven't found one yet is because this app may not even make money it might just bomb ,but I can assure you that what ever I make will go for charity. Hey Guys I'm sorry for posting this here, I'm just a guy creating GameSalad Games and posing them here for support. Looks like I'm getting de-supported (If Thats Even A Word) (as in no support).

    @Kirk - If I pull out my camera and take a picture, put it on the internet, I own it even if I do not put a copyright. If you give me your camera, and I take a picture with it, I own the picture even though it was your camera. If you own the rights, then you will have a signed release. Even if you downloaded them from a free clipart website, you are still responsible for having a signed release.

    I've been reading this forum since june and I don't know kirk. When everybody started attacking the duckhunt guy I agreed with most of the people, but when someone start to judge somebody without knowing why he actually made the app then that also makes him look bad. I am not defending him, but judging without knowing is just stupid.

    How are we judging based on anything that isn't obvious fact? Have you read this thread, or his original description?

    Let's review those facts...

    He posted a WTC app, originally claiming it was "dedicated to the families that lost loved ones..." or something like that. After being called out, he changed the description to focus on "remembering WTC for what it was", most likely out of shame.

    He only thought about donating the proceeds to charity once it was brought up by us.

    He's excessively promoting the app in hopes that we just blindly give great reviews, which is kind of the unspoken expectation in these parts...

    He obviously wanted our feedback. This is him getting what he wanted... ;-)
