Hi everyone!

I'm an artist & animator, with 0 programming knowledge. I have a simple concept for a game that I want to make & possibly put it out there in the app store to see if anyone bites. I have some questions about Gamesalad that I need answered before I decide to commit to learning it.

1.) My game would be rhythm-based. Is it possible to make rhythm games with Gamesalad?

2.) How much percent does Gamesalad take from your sales when you decide to take the game to the app store? I've been looking at the FAQ's and trying to find out how this works & I can't find very much information. Surely the company takes a cut of the profits for any game that is made with their software?

That's it! Thanks & hope to chat with you all more soon :]

    Q.1 Probably

Q.2 No they don't take a cut 100% to you but apple takes a 30% cut

Also welcome to the great gamesalad community :)

    Cheers, Weswog

    Thanks!

So with the $99 version of Gamesalad, I can sell apps in the app store?

    Thank you very much!

If anyone has had any success making a rhythm game with Gamesalad I'd still be interested in knowing !
