OK so i am a little late getting an iphone4 but the first thing i did was try GS's retina feature.

Here is my take. First most, of my games use slightly bigger images than needed. So, all i did was check the box, make a new icon and splash. The only images i didnt have upsized were the background images so i just remade the .pngs from my .psd.

//sidenote... it will be nice when GS steals the PSD support method from a competitor :) (nothing as nice as tweaking and image and not flattening it)

I uploaded it dropped it on the iphone4 and it looks amazing.

I have seen some posts about it not working correctly but i didn't dive into them as i didnt have an iphone4.

From my findings you just click it and it works.

Also a tip for everyone who hasn't realized this yet... ALWAYS use a 114 icon now instead of a 57. They really stand out more in the app store as most icons are still 57

Sorry if this is all a little behind but I am very excited to see how nicely it worked and really added a lot to a game.

Apple really nailed it with that new screen... and now its gonna be on ipod too!! awesome!

Don't have Photoshop, but that would be cool.

LOL. "Stealing" is such a modern thing for companies to do. Nintendo created the Wii-Remote, and Sony "stole" their Motion Plus from Nintendo.

Go right ahead, GS! "steal" away!

I can't get an iPhone 4 anytime soon, but now the new iPod at $229... well that's on my list! I would sure hope that the new OS would allow the iPad to utilize the resolution aimed at the iPhone retina display.

Good point, then at least pixel doubling would look pretty good!
