Gendai what is happening it's been 2 months now without an update. You should change your line from "game creation for the rest of us" to "game creation whenever we remember to update our software"

    I have to renew my IPhone developer registration in about a week. It's a strong possibility that I'm just not going to do that.

    I really hope they make iAds for express users too and give the pros other features... :S

    I'm guessing Pro will be reduced to $199 a year.

    The general mood in the forums has been pretty low of late so this has to be a massive update or some will be tipped over the edge imo.

    I reckon this new update will have a ton of new features and keep us all happy for a while, well i hope that is the case.

    I will be very upset if all we get is Pause and a few tweaks (not knocking pause but we deserve more).

    @RabidWeasel to the pro licence?
    if you have bought the express membership you only have to pay the difference between pro and express to buy the pro.
    for example if i wanted to but the pro version now i would only pay 1900$ i think that i how it works if you want to upgrade :)

    Nope, you upgrade but you need to pay the full price.

    Well if I had to pay 1900$ for a pro I wouldn't hesitate for 99$ more. It's like I went to buy an iPhone 4. I payed 660Euro who cares for the 1 euros in change. I give it to you :) (iPhone costs 659Euro)

    yeah, but it would make a difference if GS lowered the price to 199$.

    It could happen, but I doubt it.

    Still, I imagine 95% of the express users would go to Pro pretty much instantly if it happened, and stick with it permanently.

    The question is whether or not it would increase profits for GS or not - I'd imagine so, but without having any idea how many pro members they actually have subscribing on a yearly basis, it's impossible to say.

    The last Big Picture was very encouraging; and it stated clearly that the new features would be for express and pro users, if I recall correctly. That's reason enough for me to be optimistic :)

    I think you are right, they really have no choice but to lower the price. I hope you are wrong and they add more than just pause.
