Is it possible to group actors in order to move them around the scene?

I've used the software for quite a while now but on thing has ever occurred to me until now. I often find myself moving actors around the scene that are part of a group that I want to keep together, is it possible to select them all [I know holding down shift doesn't work] in order to move them all at the same time so I don't have to check their position in relation to each other?

    The way I do it, is to constrain a centre x and y value (from one actor say), and then offset the other actors based on the centre actors.

    Then all movement is controlled by those two values.
