How to decrease RAM usage

Hello,
I have problem with RAM usage. It is all fault of images (19.5 MB). I don't know how to decrease this amount.
I tried:
1. Change .png to .jpg (which were about 500 KB smaller)
2. Change Rules from "Destroy actor and spawn another" to "Change image"

Could you please give me some advices how to decrease image RAM usage?

    You could easily have integrated both sets of questions into one post.

    If I have five questions about pause, it would be rude of me to post them individually as separate threads wouldn't it?

    Now, we have two posts about RAM. It really could have been put into one.

    Maybe, you're right. But when I wrote first topic, I didn't have the other question. Later I checked my previous subject myself, but I can't delete old post.

    BTW, why are we making offtopic?

    BTW I not completely sure but i think GS converts all images to .png so not sure jpeg would help you. That I may very well be wrong about though. :)

    Also reusing your actors saves ram.

    If they are static and just hold images or text, just [Change Image] or [Display Text] appropriate to scene or sequence.

    I have one more question, is there any way to check RAM usage on iPhone 3Gs or iPhone 4. if I don't have them? Maybe some simulator or something like that?

    Use the GS Viewer.

    I don't understand what did you have on mind with this sheep.

    And second subject - how can I use GS Viewer for this, if I have neither 3Gs nor 4G (as I wrote)?
