Which screenshot style do you prefer?

a. A screenshot of the whole screen
b. Several small screenshots in one showing off the features

Heres an example. These screenshots are not final, im most likely gonna change the background in the first one. Just wanted to see the style of screenshot most people like

I have many activities in my game so i want to show off all of them in the screenshots.

PicPanda.com

OR

PicPanda.com

Let me know what you think :)

A single screenshot...but the "choose a number" screenshot is the strongest one of the bunch.

I have a bunch more, I just used those 3 as an example. I have over 15 activities so i would only be able to show 5 of them if I do single screenshots.

compromise. Show one or two composites with a little blurb about the gameplay in the corner and then three single screenshots to show more detail.

Im not too sure about that. I think i want to keep the style of the screenshots the same throughout

Arton, you should use the iPad image as a marketing tool, take each screenshot, and put it in the picture of the iPad device, and then lay them out on a background, but I also like the screenshot you did above with the 4 pics :)

@butterbean, actually this one is for iPhone :) and I would want to display the screenshots on an iPhone simulator in the screenshot but I hate doing it when I have an app that is in landscape mode, it just doesent work for me.

I was thinking of getting a style similar to "the moron test"
Search it up in the app store and take a look at the screenshots and you'll see what I mean :)

    Hey Arton

I think the style of screenshots for the "Moron test" look really awesome! Think you should go for that!

Yea they do look awesome, and i might contact Ian soon to design my screenshots for me.

I still think you need to use single screenshots. The game isn't that complex to demand multiple screenshots. Besides some may hurt more than help.

    PICK YOUR BEST STUFF!!!
Put up the absolute BEST representation of what the product is. Keep it simple and keep it direct. Only the best stuff will close the sale. When it comes to marketing...its ALL ABOUT quality...not quantity.

But I also need to pay attention to the design to attract people to buy it.

One single screenshot is a bit plain to me, just like all the rest of them, and i want to do something different.

And I have around 15 Sections

    -Math (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division)
    -Matching
    -Puzzles
    -Haunted Search
    -Draw
    -Logic
    -Learn Colors
    -Design your own character
    -Coloring Book
    -Making Cakes and Cookies
    -Alphabet
    -Counting
    -Grouping
    -Animals

So I definitely have a few things to show in my screenshots, the more they see the more they'll be interested in buying.
