Game Idea, Need Opinions

I have an idea to create a game like Webkinz (look it up if you dont know where it is) for the ipad and it would have many of the same things but without the online part you would just be by yourself. There would be a store, food, rare items, games, money and everything. Let me know if you think this could take off! Thanks!

    Big part of webkinZ the my kid likes is interacting with other online players. He plays another virtual world app without online activity but has lots of Artificial intelligence

    If I were to make an app like that I would implement gamecenter into it since gamesalad is working on it :)

    I'm hoping GS releases today as my new game could use pause and game center
