    WORST day of my life!

Ok first of all it is one of the biggest high school in New York City, in population and size of the actual school. There are 7-8 floors and the hallways are so large that each room has to be labeled with a North, South, West, or East of that floor. I seriously need a compass to find my way around this school. Im getting used to it tho. The only thing about this is that I am coming from a middle school that had 300 students total, while this one has over 5000. Its a huge transition for me

Secondly, I skipped a grade of math, and my teacher is insane. He shouts and never accepts a wrong answer from anyone.

Thirdly, I already have a ton of homework even tho it was the first day

Fourthly, my schedule got totally messed up, giving me 2 periods of lunch a day (that could be a good thing or a bad thing lol). It also put me into Musical choir, even tho I made sure not to sign up for it. I think I may be stuck in it for 3 weeks before they take me out. The teacher was very angry at me when I told him there was a mistake.

Other than that, I met some pretty cool people, and I have a 3 vacation break now and monday is when high school is really gonna start. I guess I just have to learn to cope with these things :(

I started school a month ago in Flo Rida.

Walk up to the hot chicks and ask them to show you where your classes are. :D

Yeah older girls are better, they have jobs and cars. :D

Sounds rough! It's a huge transition going from 300 students to 5,000! I know in about a month, you'll be feeling more adjusted :)

Your math teacher needs to be medicated. Maybe you could drop a valium in his cup o Joe? All kidding aside, I'm sure you'll do great, you're smart!

Show your math teacher after you've had time to warm up, all your apps! I'm sure that will blow him away :)

Make sure you stay on your advisor, and try to become friends with them if you can. I made so many changes to my schedules (especially towards the latter years) that I think you'll find it very beneficial to you.

Oh, and even more so in college :)

And high school math is a cinch. Just show the slightest bit of interest and they will love you. Stay after class and ask a question or 2, even if you know the answers. Most kids in public school math care so little that it is very easy to seem interested.

Then again, you might get picked on by your classmates, but I don't know. All my peers thought I was awesome. (Just a bit of Kenny Powers arrogance to lighten the mood)
