Custom behaviors

For programmers, it would be great if we could externally code our own behaviors and plug them into GameSalad.

It would greatly extend GameSalad's functionality, and it would be good if these plugins could be shared with others via this web site.

And, as others have already said, some sort of data persistence which would allow saved games, high scores, etc.

    1. Definitely would be cool, but doubt it will happen.

    2. Data persistence is high on the to-do list from what the Devs stated. It just takes time of course =)

An SDK to compile yourself with the extensions would be awesome. At least for the iPhone. This would be difficult to do for web publishing.

It would be cool if the devs would comment on this. If it is going to happen I bet it will be after a 1.0 release.

    +1...

I think this is essencial to a good game also.

It is very annoing that you have to start over everytime...

I the devs should say something on the motter definately.

This was originally a plan for GameSalad but I think they have backed off the idea for now at least until they get the main GameEngine Solid. They also used to have plans for 3d and xcode exporting but thats not really in the plans anymore either.

Edit: Also just released this thread is a year old and should not have been bumped . Someone please close it.
