How to make an actor stretch between two points? Also a laser beam, outward
You know, like a wall, or force field or whatever...
What is a good way?
And then also, to make a laser beam which stretches outward from the source?
Then detaches
As in our classic shooter favorite, Life Force ;-)
Or recently, in DoDonPachi?

This firemaple demo does indeed show what I would need to do it... now I just need to try and understand the math involved here...
*In other thoughts, I do plan to do a "manic shooter" on GS sometime soon - I just hope that the engine (and users' older devices) can handle animating many, many lasers at once...!

It's lucky I didn't discover maple story a few years ago, or could have gotten hooked on it ;-)
Simple but fun, and very customizable gameplay
Now I run only Mac, so no temptation.
We are the game MAKERS now, so can't waste all our time playing. ;-)
