I've seen it done alot and was wondering if gamesalad allowed it. I'm making a game with a ton of cutscenes and I was wondering how I'd go about playing a video in gamesalad. Thanks
That will take way too much space, and it would lag and there would probably be audio sync issues. The way most games do it is load a mp4 during the game and if you tap you see movie controls like you're watching a movie... no way to do it in gamesalad?
not at this time and sure this isnt high on the todo list u can make images png-8 and about 240x160 then use a png compressing program (i have a free one that was suggested on the forum somewhere) then just resize images in GS this makes file sizes small but wont be as sharp audio may still b a problem so maybe add kinda like comic strip text to pics may not b as good but may b better then nothing ps when saving as png-8 try different color counts and compare pic quality
As said above, you can't play real video. You can kind of fake it, by using a PNG sequence, and playing some audio behind it, but it wouldn't work for anything that needs to be tightly synced.

If you can use music only for your cut sequence, you could try using the tip posted in this recent thread:
