Grids, snap to grid, more intuitive object placement

I'm flummoxed that GS doesn't have rulers and grids that can be turned on and off in the IDE to allow me to snap actors into place on stage. A floating inspector palette that allows me to type in value for an actor or background image to get it to, say, 0,0 in a brief second.

Am I missing these?

You can type the location into the position attributes of the actor
(they will be to the left in a tabbed area somewhere)

    There isn't a grid yet - I asked.
    I'd like one, though!

You could always import a grid from Photoshop or something, and later turn it off
(gee, that's a good idea... I should do that myself)

This is a feature I badly need, too! I couldn´t believe that snapping/ a grid/ rulers are not available yet...
